He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anderson and Dora Anderson; and his sisters, Ruby Odom, Ruth Bolin, Sarah Odom and Lucille Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Anderson; his daughter Michelle Stroer (Dennis); his grandchildren, Chelsea Wardlow (Josh), Jenny Anderson (Matt), Katie Potts (Robert) and Scott Stroer; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Potts, Kai Wardlow, Connor Anderson, Finn Anderson and Ryan Johnston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
