He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clarence and May Bell; and his sisters, Gwen Grider-Howell and LaWanna Grider. He is survived by: his wife Karen Grider; his daughters, Carmen Grider-Luke (Charles, Carrie Grider) and Caseye Grider-Smith (Jason); his grandchildren, Cayden, Carson, Jacy, Codi, Matthew, John, Tyler and Connor; and his siblings, Linda Tinnerman and Danny Grider (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to Community Hospice of Texas, a non profit organization.
