With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Pittman Johnson of Grand Prairie, Texas, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilmer Eargle and Estelle Friday Eargle; her former husband James E. Pittman; her husband Roy Johnson; her sons, James "Eddie" Pittman and Jake Pittman; her grandchildren, Denise Pittman Michael and Ryan Pittman; and her siblings, Mildred Eargle Harvell, Ruth Idella Eargle Mangum, Hazel Naomi Eargle Franklin, James Marion Eargle, Warren Edward Eargle and Edith Eargle Griffin.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Pittman; her grandchildren, Mary Pittman Adkins (Preston), Erin Pittman Weiss (William), Blake Pittman, Rebecca Pittman O'Toole (Stephen) and Jeffrey Morris; her stepchildren, Janet Johnson, Joseph Johnson, David Johnson (Charyl) and Daniel Johnson (Lois); and her great grandchildren, Cody Pittman, Stephanie Michael Smith (Stephen), Peyton Adkins (Devan), Cailyn Adkins and Caden Adkins. She is also survived by many great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and in-laws.
