He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingo Astran and Delores Young Astran; and his wife Lydia Gonzales. He is survived by: his children, Betty Dean (Astran), Sally Enright (Astran), Jason, Michael and Christopher Astran; his grandchildren, Jen Davila, Adrian Vasquez, Marcelino Astran, Jessica Fitzgerald, Michael Jr., Bianca, Whitney Astran, John Enright and Victoria Hertel; his siblings, Ruben "Cowboy", Domingo III and Elida Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Adrian Jr., Camron, Elida, Izabell, Olivia, Gabriella, Sayda and Everett.
