He is survived by: his sons, Edward Robert Boyd, III and Jerald DeWayne Boyd (Andrea); his daughter-in-law Valerie Boyd; and his close friend Mike Gardner (Lynn). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five bonus grand children, two great-grandchildren, five bonus great-grandchildren.
