He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Swain and Lula Mae Swain; and his siblings, Annabelle Swain, Gladys Scott, Don, Roy and Fred.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Swain; his children, Lynette (Mark Lagow), Mike (Cynthia Swain) and Terri (Mike Pulec); his grandchildren, Matt, Kristin, Oliva, Abigail, Mary, Michael, Mark, Tim and Sandy; and his great grandchildren, Kaden, Justice, Mercy, Anson, Kennedy, Evelyn, Tate, Norah and Madeline.

They launched a 64 year journey together, building a marriage and family on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ.
