He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Obie Butler Day Sr and Bessie Lee Day; his brother Obie Butler Day Jr.; his wife Annie Katherine Day; his daughters, Shuneda Sterrett (Russell) and Latrece Litscher (Paul); his grandchildren, Russell Carson Sterrett, Austin Robert Sterrett (Tiffani) and Lauren Litscher; his great grandchild Leah Sterrett; his sister Linda Day; his cousin Jack Day; and his nephew Dan Day.
