It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlene Ayers of Grand Prairie, Texas, born in Levelland, Texas, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loy Reese and Beulah Dodson Reese; her former husband Emmett Gillaspy; and her sons, Bobby Gillaspy and Donny Gillaspy.

She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Pallett (Rick); and her grandchildren, Robert Jenkins (Maria), Dewayne Lewis (Brandy), Brandy Aglugub (Ernie), Emmett Gillaspy Jr., Anna Jorgenson (Dane), April Smith, Ryan Gillaspy and Jessica Gillaspy. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
