She is survived by: her spouse Butera Munyakabera; her children, Kayitesi Agnes, Arfoncine Umutoni, Charles Musana and Yvonne Karuta; her close friends, Muhire Ndungutse, Lody Kamana, Mahoro Musana and Sabato Kadhadi; and her grandchildren, Aliane Kaneza, Deborah Ingabire, Prince Baraka, Emmy Kagiraneza, Anitha Akaliza, Diocles Hirwa, Selma Kamana, Levi Musana, Elijah Musana, Ethan Musana and Ivana Kadhadi.
