He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Manuel De Jesus Sanchez and Maria De Jesus Rodriguez; his wife Alma Espinosa Sanchez; his children, Erik Sanchez and Elisa Sanchez; and his pets, Leon, Bexar and Kai.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
