With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas J. Nelson Sr. of Granbury, Texas, who passed away on March 20, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Nelson and Esther Helser (Vorwald) of Dubuque, IA; and his sisters, Jeanette Elgin and Darlene Allendorf. He is survived by: his wife Christin Nelson; and his brother LeRoy Nelson of Dubuque, IA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchild and 2 great great grandchildren, his family and friends.
