Though Steven Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steven Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Murray and Ann Ella Murray. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jobes; his grandchildren, Alyre, Gabriel, Seth, Marty, Mason of Maddy, D. J. and Paige; his stepchildren, Shannon Lloyd and Donovan Bartylla; and his siblings, Robert (Doris Murray) and Judy Westopher. He is also survived by his family – particularly for his grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wiley Center Funeral Home Chapel (420 W US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048).
