With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Mae Witte (Granbury, Texas), born in Springfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley Mae shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley Mae farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Tortora and Edward Johnson; her husband H. A. Witte; her son James Witte; her great grandchild Hayden Hunstable; and her sons-in-law, Lance Teten and Herman Catron.
She is survived by: her children, Fran Teten and Lee Witte.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wiley Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Granbury (400 W US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Boggy Creek Cemetery (9290 FM 219, Clifton, TX 76634).
