He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Van Meter. He is survived by: his father Jack Meter; his daughters, Cheryl (Dane Amerine) of San Antonio and Becky (Britt Holt) of Hico, Texas; and his grandchildren, Travis, Gretchen Amerine, Ellie and David Holt.
