He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Howell Evans and Harry D. Evans; and his sister Carroll Medford. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Gatson of Granbury, TX; his children, Elise Reaves (David) of Granbury, TX, Dwight Evans (Camie) of Tyler, TX and Denise Orsborn (Bryan) of Leander, TX; his grandchildren, Lindsey Lohr (Brett) of Portland, Sarah Wade (Chase) of Bedford, TX, Rebekah Ross (Bailey) of Tyler, TX, A. J. Evans (Baylie) of Tyler, TX, Daniel Orsborn of Georgetown, TX. and Nathan Orsborn of Leander, TX.; his great grandchildren, Kathryn Wade, Avery Ross and Ellis Ross; and his brother Harry Evans of Santa Ana, CA.
