It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Laverne Porter of Granbury, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. For Juanita Laverne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Scroggins, Judy Wherry and Beth Gilliam; her grandchildren, Sabrina Jones, Bill Earlston, Stephanie Hardy, Stephen Gilliam, Veronica Viner, Danny Scroggins, John Johnson and Jason Johnson; and her sister Sandra Clements. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
