He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie T. Tharp and Mary Alice Tharp; his siblings, Chester Tharp, Billy Joe Tharp and Suzette Quick; his aunt Louise; and his uncle Chester Pete Sawyer.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Tharp (Joanna) and Tara Hix (Joe); his grandchildren, Jordan P. Ebeling (Tharp), Katie Tharp, Macy N. Zell (Tharp), Landry Hix, Lexy Hix and Heather Hix; his great grandchildren, Emmalynn Hix and Cayden Hix; his sisters-in-law, Sherry Tharp and Denise Tharp; and the mother of his children Virginia Osborne.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).
