He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. McNew Jr. and Margaret Virginia Gregory; and his brother-in-law Oscar Hinojosa. He is survived by: his wife Terry; his sons, Greg (Audrey) of Leander and Jeff (Juss) of Granbury; his grandchildren, Emily, Abel, Samson, Bennett and Calvin; his sister Joye Hinojosa of Waco; and his nephews, Victor and Carlos Hinojosa of Waco.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wiley Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Granbury (400 W US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Granbury Baptist Church (1200 Weatherford Hwy, Granbury, TX 76048). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Holly Hills Memorial Park (1909 Weatherford Hwy, Granbury, TX 76048).
