Skeeter Murley wrote a sympathy message

“I'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I knew Jim as a fellow member of the Society of Watercolor Artists in Fort Worth. He was always so nice, and was kind enough to share some of his knowledge on how to run a watercolor exhibition. I'll never forget his patience, kind words and willingness to help. He will definitely be missed. My condolences to the family. Skeeter Murley Arlington, Texas”
