Though Ira may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jesse Scoggins and Lavinia Bates Scoggins; and his wife Ruth Scoggins. He is survived by: his children, Vanda Bowen (Gary), William Scoggins (Karen), Debra Hogancamp (Calvin Mecham) and Ruth Palmer (Dennis). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
