He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl G. Ekenstam and Cordelia C. Ekenstam (Armstrong); his brother Charles Henry; and his son Erik. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ekenstam; his daughter Karla Ekenstam; his brother Gene Ekenstam; his sister-in-law Mary Ekenstam; his sisters, Grace Stasny and Margaret Vaughn; and his brother-in-law Clifford Vaughn (Jack). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (2301 Fall Creek Hwy, Granbury, TX 76049).
The family encourages memorials to be sent to Texas Lutheran College in Seguin, Texas, to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Granbury, Texas or to any organization supporting research or Parkinson's Disease.
