He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allison and Florence Allison (Badgely); his wife Betty Jean Allison (Knight); and his siblings, Mildred and John.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Allison (Bing Jeskey) of Grandbury Texas and Susan Allison of Fayetteville Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Mark and Don. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, it was Don's wish that donations be made to charitable organizations serving Veterans, such as Disabled American Veterans or DAV (help.dav.org).
