Donald J. Roath Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2025, at the age of 85, Donald J. Roath (Granbury, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roath Stone and Norma Stone; his sister Jan Ware; his sons-in-law, Ray Patterson and Dale Ross; and his grandsons, Christopher Bell and Zachary Tulcus.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Joan Auxier Roath; and his children, Steve Roath (Gayle), Donna DuPont (Fred), Gina Patterson, Ralph Roath (Lisa), Marcy Ross and Mark Roath (Christine). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Acton Baptist Church (3500 Fall Creek Hwy, Granbury, TX 76049). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenleaf Cemetery (2615 US-377, Brownwood, TX 76801).
