She was predeceased by: her parents, John Donawho and Mary Donawho of Moran, Texas.; her husband Robert Lowell Thornton (Bob); her siblings, Herman Donawho (Florence) of Breckenridge, Winnie Singleton (Harld) of Breckenridge and Elsie Gleaves (Alton Gleave) of Bowie; her brother-in-law Gary Adams of Rising Star; and her nephews, J. Harold Singleton, Jr. of Breckenridge and Randall Gleaves of Alaska.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Palmer Trahan (Rick Trahan) of Cisco and Robert Paul Thornton (Tammy Charbonneau) of Lakehills, Texas; and her sister Johnnie Adams of Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
