He was predeceased by: his siblings, Julius Vernon "Jude" Durant, Clovis Glen "Peck" Durant, Darwin Ray "Pete" Durant, Maxwell Guinn "Nig" Durant, Mary Charlene Durant Armstrong, Alfred Reese "Gook" Durant and Kathleen Durant Holub.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley Gene Durant (Jill) of Silsbee, TX, James Reese Durant-Wills (Trish) of Perth, Justin Morris Durant (Millicent) of Fairplay, CO and Wendolin "Wendy" Miles (Dan) of Cresson, TX.; and his grandchildren, Joshua Durant, Seth Durant (Tara), Caitlin Baker (James) and Harley Stitt (Cody). He is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Granbury Church of Christ (1905 W Pearl St, Granbury, TX 76048). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
