Daygo left this world on February 8, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Daygo may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daygo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Gentry and Dora Ardessa Neely Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Gentry; his children, Sean Gentry, Randal Gentry (Patty), Steven Gentry (Rhonda), Chris Gentry (Paige) and Charlotte Richards (Mark); and his brother Bobby Joe Gentry. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
