She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clyde Chambers and Carrie Elizabeth Chambers (Phelps); her spouse Thomas Henry Wellman; her son Michael Leon Wellman; and her siblings, Oteka Minda, Margie Womack and Dub Chambers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Wellman Lindsey of Ozona and Lesley Denise Gibson; her grandchildren, Stephannie Saunders King of Ozona, Matthew Leland Wellman of Ozona, Amy Vargas of Midland, Jessie Turner and Cory Turner; and her sister Mozelle Sledge of Graham. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
