He was predeceased by: his former wives, Dorothy Russell Devenport and Billie Craver Devenport. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Devenport of Graham; his sons, Mike Devenport of Gatesville, Phil Devenport (Karen) of Breckenridge and George C. Birdwell, Jr.; his wife Caren of Graham; and also, Bonnie J. Nichols (Hooker) of Dallas, Pat Mitchell (Randy) of Breckenridge, Connie Seay (Tommy) of Graham and Carol Chestnut (Ronnie) of Graham. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
