He was predeceased by: his parents, James Story and Birdie Story; his wife Sue Story of Haskell; his siblings, Hobart, George, James, Arnold Story, Gladys Clark, Faye White, Della Stephens and Joyce Story; his sons, Billy Story Sr. and Bobby James Story; and his grandchild Meagan Neal.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Watson, Debbie Wilkinson (Brad) of Newcastle and Patricia Story of Olney; his grandchildren, Chelle Rogers (Bob) of China Springs, Bill Story Jr. (Julia), Mindy Brannon (Jack) of Weatherford and Jimmy Smith (Lindsey) of Olney, Texas; his great grandchildren, Heather Toten (Tracer), Morgan Rogers, Todd Brannon (Megan), Jamie, Jaycee Brannon, Courtney, Freddie Story, Patrick, Phillip Abel and Ethan Smith; his great great grandchildren, Addy Sue and Sadie Rose Brannon; and his brother Harold Story of Mansfield, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
