He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Shell and Maurine Shell. He is survived by: his siblings, John Shell of Stephenville and Marilyn Shell (Dan Collins) of Portland, Maine; his nephews, Jeremy Shell (Michelle) of Stephenville and Johnny Shell (Anne) of San Antonio; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dawson Shell, Kaydon Shell, Brandon Shell, Alysa Shell, Katy Shell and Olivia Shell.
