He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Hawkins and Kay Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Alyce Hawkins; his children, Michael and Russell; his fiancé Caitlin; his grandchildren, Ashton, Hailey, Blake and Maddison; and his sibling Diane.
