He was predeceased by: his parents, A. D. Gann and Rose Marion Gann (Duncan); and his sister Patricia Blevins. He is survived by: his children, Michael Craig Gann, Dustin Kester and Misty Mathews; his siblings, Mary Patrick, Allen Gann and Shannon Gann; and his close friend Tammy Jones. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts and uncles.
