It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Stevens of Gordonville, Texas, born in Allen, Texas, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Garnet Lee Spurgin (John); her children, Brenda Elaine Stevens and Ricky Oliver Stevens; her siblings, Betty Sue Cordes (Powell) and Bobby Spurgin; and her parent Artie Spurgin (Mullins).
She is survived by: her husband Billy Stevens; her grandchildren, Gene Stevens (Angela) and Jenha Mercatoris (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Chance Stevens, Sam Stevens, Rebecca Stevens, Ryder Stevens and Hayley Stevens; and her brothers, Jackie Spurgin (Margaret) of McKinney, Gary Spurgin (Donna) of Aubrey and Mike Spurgin of Melissa Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
