He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Asbury; and his son Andrew. He is survived by: his mother Janice Jennings Asbury of Abilene; his wife Aloma Mokry; his sons, Bryan (Mykala) and Caleb of Abilene; his sister Elizabeth Sims (Dean) of Colorado Springs; his nephew Jacob Sims (Rachel); his niece Sarah Sims; his aunt Barbara Jennings of Belton; and his uncle Larry Asbury of Dallas. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
