He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Lee Nelson and Muriel Louise Nelson (Walker); his brother Steve Nelson; and his sister-in-law Joann Nelson. He is survived by: his wife DaWanda Nelson (Melton) of Goodrich, Texas; his daughter Magen Rutland; his son-in-law T. J. of Spicewood, Texas; his son Mark Lovell; his daughter-in-law Araceli of Kingwood, Texas; his daughters, Rachel Angel (Genaro) and Claire Hahn (Matt); his grandchildren, Lance Rutland, Colton Rutland, Mason Rutland, Gerardo Azarte, Emily Lovell, Kaylee Sue, Lillian Lovell, Camila Lovell, Hailey Angel, Lilianna Angel, Zaiden Moreno, Liam Moreno, Jordan Hahn, Cormac Hahn and Walden Hahn; his siblings, Mark Nelson of Goodrich, Texas and Debbie Darwin; and his brother-in-law Todd of Bayou Vista, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
