It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Schevie Layfette Slayden of Goodrich, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Macie Slayden; his children, Gavin Slayden, Aubrie Slayden of Goodrich, Texas and Schayne Slayden of Goodrich, Texas; his parent Rebecca Dupree; his brother Schawn Slayden; his sister-in-law Andrea Slayden of Coldspring, Texas; and his parent Melanie Satterly. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
