He is survived by: his sons, Richard Pate of Goodrich, Texas and Steven "Hank"; his daughter-in-law Wendy Pate of Trinity, Texas; his grandchildren, Kellie (Don Hopson) of Livingston, Texas, Miranda (Josh Crosser) of Goodrich, Texas and Henry Pate of Goodrich, Texas; and his sister Betty Thompson of McAllen, Texas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
