He was predeceased by: his parents, Angel Ortega and Brijida Ortega (Guzman); his wife Minerva Ortega; and his son Angel Ortega. He is survived by: his children, Juana Ortega of Mexico, Luis Ortega (Lucero), Marisa Ortega of Goodrich, Texas, Jesus Ortega (Allison), Leticia Ortega (Robert), Victoria Ortega of Lufkin, Texas, Daniela Ortega (Nathan), Gladis Ortega of Goodrich, Texas and Jennifer Cruz of Goodrich, Texas; and his daughter-in-law Candice Ortega of Livingston, Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
