He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Wayne Scogin and Faye Bell Scogin (Whitmire); his wife Connie Scogin; and his brother Carl Wayne Scogin. He is survived by: his brother Jimmy; his sister-in-law Mary Maxwell of Goodrich; his brothers, David Scogin of Huntsville and William Scogin of Cleveland; his nieces, Jessie Johnson of Goodrich and Samantha Helmer (Billy) of Point Blank; and his nephew Dakota Maxwell (Kristine) of Big Lake. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
