It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Cooksey of Goodrich, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Homer Lee Stephens; and her brothers, Joe Stephens and Steve Stephens. She is survived by: her mother Katherine Ruth Stephens (Kitchell) of Texas City, Texas; her husband Roy Lee Cooksey, Jr. of Goodrich, Texas; her children, Dawn Roessler (Eddie), Crystal Green (Craig) and Quentin Severin; her daughter-in-law Stefanie of Santa Fe, Texas; her grandchildren, Carson, Paige Roessler, Dustin, Taylor Tarnow, Dawson Roessler, Abbi, Sarah Severin, Lauren Severin, Riley Tarnow, Zane Pierce and Kacey Tarnow; and her sister Linda Hughes of Texas City. She is also survived by other numerous relatives and friends.
