We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2022, at the age of 79, Virginia Sue Nelson of Gonzales, Texas, born in Hallettsville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Landis Bryant Hallman; her granddaughter Jessica Redfern; her sisters, Gayle Morgan and Tommie Reynolds; and her nephew Dwayne English.
She is survived by: her children, DeNessa Baker (Sherman) of Gonzales and Kerry McCawley (Viola) of Gonzales; her sister Sandra Webb Sweeney of Smithville; her grandchildren, Jessica Wright (Alex), Rebekah Baker, Breanna Baker, Samantha Baker, Karissa Baker, Kerry DeNessa Green, Edward Mendez and Ernest Mendez; and her great grandchild Aubrey Gonzales.
Memorials may be made to St. James Catholic Church.
