He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Baker Gibson; his parents, Marion Otis Gibson and Frankie Jane Evans Gibson; and his siblings, Melvin Gibson, Dessie Clute, Bonnie Clute, Bobbie Flowers and Cathey Greene.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah Riggs Gibson of Nixon; his siblings, Robert Gibson of College Station, Texas and Nelda Feller (Orville) of Waco; his children, Laura Gibson Johnson (Mike) of Nixon, Lynda Gibson Grigar (Randy) of Friendswood and Troy Wayne Gibson of Nixon; his grandchildren, Cherise Casey (Joe) of Katy, Kristin Johnson (Jason) of Nixon, Kaci Perdue (Christopher) of Alvin and Kylie Grigar of Friendswood; and his adoptive daughters, Troy, Yvonne, Karen Teas (Charles) of Corpus Christi, Jeanne Wilcox of Coronado, California and Judy Kurtz (Bob) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
