He is survived by: his wife Maria A. Esparza; his children, Michael Ray Esparza, Dain B. Kuntschik and Reba B. Kuntschik of Gonzales; his grandson Cristian Ruben Hernandez; his siblings, Natalie Eureste, Maria Esparza of Gonzales, Texas Guadalupe Esparza, Connie Olmos (Joe) of Fort Worth, John Esparza, Fred Esparza, Armando Esparza and Casey Esparza (Rosario) of Gonzales; and his brother-in-law Pete Olmos of Fort Worth.
