She was predeceased by: her parents, E. P. Jones and Billie Jean Jones; and her husband Johnny Carl Swenson, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Karin Swenson and Johnny Carl Swenson, Jr. (Sarah); her grandchildren, Kali, Alex, Lilly and Isaac; and her siblings, Eldrige "Mike" Jones, William Scott Jones, Steven Vance Jones, Deborah Perryman, Russell Thomas Jones and Hope Alyson Gorrondona. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
