He is survived by: his wife Lillie Holcombe; his children, Matias Cantu (Leslie) of Houston, Matthew Cantu of San Antonio, Adam Holcombe of Houston, Erica Piette (David) of San Antonio, Amelie Cantu of San Antonio and Carla Cantu of Houston; and his siblings, Eduardo Cantu of Houston, Maria Carrizales (Anastacio) of San Antonio, Esther Nicholson, Estella Spain of LaPorte, Ruth Lea of LaPorte, Amelie Placios of Austin and Eugenia Ramirez of Ft. Worth. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
