He was predeceased by: his siblings, Adolph, Melvin, August, Joseph, Edwin Zella, Elsie Spitzenberger, Mildred Roeber and Mary Sofka.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Marie Zella; his son Raymond Fred "Raymie" Zella of Gonzales; his daughter-in-law Dorothy of Gonzales; his grandchildren, Kristin Matias, John Braxton Zella and Zachery Earl Zella; and his brothers, Carl Zella (Delores), Robert Zella and Kenneth Zella.
Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus or one's favorite charity.
