He is survived by: his mother Janie Ramos Vega of Lockhart; his stepfather Michael Polk of Lockhart, Texas; his siblings, John Vega (Cynthia) of Gonzales, Gilbert Vega (Kristi) of Lockhart, Lisa Lopez (Roger) of San Antonio, Rachael Cardoza (Mario) of Gonzales, Marion Vega of Lockhart, Rebecca Castillo (Alvin) of Austin, Michelle Polk of San Antonio and Beatrice Polk of Lockhart, Texas; his stepchildren, Cruz Flores and Raeanna Flores; and his children, Pete H. Vega, Sr., Serving, John Ramos, Frank Ramos, Jason Castillo, Josh Castillo, Adrian Ramirez Vega, Gilbert Vega Jr., Mario Cardoza Jr. and Tony Lomas.
