She is survived by: her husband Edmund Michael "Skinny" Malatek; her granddaughters, Erica Gonzalez (Rafael) of Gonzales and Michaela Malatek of Gonzales; her great grandchildren, Conrad Canales, Isabelle Gonzalez and Madelynn Gonzalez; and her sisters, Birdie Karl of New Braunfels and Callie Neely of New Braunfels.
