He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul V. Cerda, Sr. and Luz Leal Cerda; and his sister Mary Frances Hidalgo. He is survived by: his wife Maria Dolores Cerda; his children, Darlene Valenta (Bo) of Harwood and Paul Garcia Cerda (Jackie) of Allen, TX; his grandchildren, Nina Denà Valenta Autry and Jena Renee Valenta; his great grandchildren, Nash Bohus Autry and Paislee Jo Autry; and his sisters, Rachel Rodriguez of Gonzales and Susie Molina of Gonzales.
