He was predeceased by: his parents, Paola Maldonado and Martin Maldonado; his wife Juanita Roberta Perez Maldonado; his son Martin Maldonado; and his siblings, Herlinda Villarreal and Robert Maldonado.
He is survived by: his children, Hector Maldonado (Shelby Molina), Miguel Maldonado (Christi), Joseph Maldonado, Cynthia Martinez (Vincent), Margarita Maldonado, Angela Landa (Gosfrey) and Maria Maldonado; and his sister Cleofas Villarreal. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
